Hello everyone. I am delighted to have found deviantART to share some of my digital creations as well as to have access to the amazing resources available here. And of course to learn more about digital and other art, and to see the amazing work others have done.

Some notes about my digital stained glass creations:

I love to create digital stained glass pieces. There are several websites online that offer free patterns and some that offer stained glass sample images too. It is a great way for me to create beautiful pieces even if only digitally created when I cannot afford to create real stained glass art. There are a several websites online that offer free stained glass patterns. Two of them are the Spectrum Glass Company (which also has stained glass images of samples), and Chantal's Stained Glass.

There are also several websites that you can get stained glass sample images to "paint" with. A few of them are Spectrum Glass Company, Armstrong Glass Company, Kokomo Opalescent Glass, Youghiogheny Glass, and the Wissmach Glass Company.

I know there are many methods of creating digital stained glass pieces. I found a method that works for me using real stained glass sample images and patterns.

There are several different methods for creating the leading of the stained glass. Sometimes I used Super Blade Pro, a great plug-in and other times I just select the lines of the pattern, expand and then flood fill the the selection. Then I might apply a bevel, or Super Blade Pro, or even the Eye Candy 4000 plug-in glass effect.

Well I hope you enjoy my stained glass creations like I have enjoyed making them.

You're very welcome. It is a great photo of the blue flowers. And thanks for the nice comment about my gallery. Sorry I took so long to respond but I have been so busy with a huge project for the Bring Your Vision to Life Contest. I might, if I have the time, do a photomanipulation for the Spring Contest as well.

You are most welcome and thanks for your welcome to DA. This is an amazing site. "Wondering" is a lovely piece. I love the softness of it.
