Paint Sparks

I animated another of my friend's fireworks photographs. Venom Photography kindly gave me permission to use any of his photos in my artwork. More on that later.

I used a gradient to add vibrant color to his fireworks photo so when I added the special effects using glitterboo.com it would have a very colorful sparkle.

I called this piece "Paint Sparks" because the fireworks photo reminded me of a giant paintbrush in the sky with spatters of sparks for paint.

Sadly Venom Photography has closed his account on flickr but before he did he gave me permission to use his photographs in my artwork and had given all his photographs a Creative Commons with Attribution license. Since he has closed his account on flickr I cannot link you directly to his photograph but he has given me permission to upload smaller versions to my scrapbook so this is what I have done.
