Surreal Ghostly Aurora

Since I did not make the 25 semi-finalists for this competition I am turning on the deviantART watermark. Good luck to all those who made the 25!

I think one of the coolest phenomena in nature is the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights. So I did a series of deviations for this contest based on that theme. How cool would a laptop skin be featuring the Aurora Borealis be? Yes, some of these are surreal and not meant to be realistic looking. I will be uploading more very soon.

I have been working on this set over a 12 day period. I sure wish I had read about this contest in August! I am exhausted with the many, many, many hours I put into this set trying to get them done for the contest. At that time I thought my idea of an Aurora Borealis theme was unique, but now, I see a few entries using that same theme. Sigh, oh well at least my final product is definitely original.
