Eight Beam Lighthouse

UPDATE: I finally figured out how I had made the frame I wanted so I am just updating this animation with the new frame.

The response to my lighthouse animations have been positive so I decided to make some minor changes to another one I made for my lighthouse series I did 2 years ago and upload it to deviantART. Though what I had thought would be an hours task tops ended up taking me more like 4 hours. Even relatively minor changes can take a long time when you are talking about multiple animation frames and each frame made up of multiple layers. And to top it off this is not the glass frame I wanted either, I simply cannot remember how I made the first one 2 years ago. I probably will be changing the frame after I look at it again tomorrow.

This unlike my other lighthouses uploaded so far does not use any stock resources. I made the lighthouse base using vectors and created the beams myself. The stars were generated using a plug-in. Now I was inspired by amazing videos of lighthouses shining at night on YouTube when I originally created this. And one lighthouse with 8 beams of light really fascinated me so I attempted to make one of my own.
